Ohana Prayer 265 – Matthew 21
6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on.
8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.
13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
33 “Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place.
34 When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.
O Glorious King and LORD, El Shaddai! You are our Heavenly Father and we praise Your name. You are all mighty to hold this universe together. Your will be done! Your works are completed according to Your thought. You will not leave the poor, hungry, desolate, the poor in spirit, the weak and lowly, but, offer healing of body and soul, renewal of strength, by Your outstretched hand.
Hosanna to our Lord Jesus Christ who now be praised by the nations! Your Word described You: He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. Surely, he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
Lord, forgive us! We have despised Your house of prayer for all the nations. Loss of unity, agape, and communion amongst the brethren as well as encouragement to one another. Loss of the zeal to preach to the nations and no longer concern of the dying world. Loss of our faith and hope in You!
Holy Spirit, come to ignite the incense of prayers in our hearts. We are overwhelmed in the thick fog of the pandemic, our churches have built the altars, piled high with branches. Even though our tearful prayers, tear that have showered the sides of the altars and filled up the mole around them, yet, we dwell fervently on Your mercy and Your leading waiting of the flame of revival appear.
Less that we forget of our calling from the get-go, please keep reminding us to be of the faithful steward and labors bringing the harvest and our works to praise God with. O Holy Spirit, take our hands and guide, so we can have the power to also guide others to come before Jesus Christ, singing laud and Hosanna to our Most High. And the blessings will fall upon us liken of snowing.
Pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
