Ohana Prayer 420 – 1 Timothy 4

Let no one look down on [you because of] your youth, but, be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in [moral] purity. I Tim 4:12

Creator of the heavens, our heavenly Father, who is above all and in all, praise of Your name! You are Elohim! You have mercy on whom You will chooses and hardens the heart of whom You will. From the miry clay, vessels of honor were made, likewise, the same clay can be made of common household item! We are such clay in Your hands! Let Your will be done with each of us, glory be Your name! Father, You have given us to Jesus, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. Each morning, let us to become closer and closer to the original status when man was first created. To have intimate fellowship with You, able to behold of Your presence, to sing songs of worship and adoration with the seraphim and all created! Teach us to count our days, not wasting of the borrowed time, living out in this world as in heaven, bringing glory to You.

Praise for the Lord of Life, Jesus Christ! You gave up of Your life and regain it back! Now all authorities are given to You, no one can take Your life away, but You freely gave; to pull us out of the abyss of sin, brought us back into the fold. Lord Jesus, we ask You to forgive our sins and forgive us for being tempted by false lies, like being branded by a hot iron, leaving scars, numb to sin, and becoming slaves to sin. Please give us a new heart, put a new spirit in us, remove the heart of stone from our flesh, and give us a heart of flesh.

Holy Spirit, we believe! Cleanse us with the heavenly water of truth! Purify our mind and thought so no curse speeches come forth from our lips, purge the idols in our hearts, have nothing to do with godless myths and superstitions; rather, train ourselves to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. Holy Spirit, help us and strengthen our faith. let us not focus on the smallness of individuals and the church but give us the courage to watch ourselves as a model for others in terms of words, deeds, love, faith, and cleanliness. We are to use action of pursuing spirituality, and to exemplify the attitude of holiness, to leave a beautiful footstep for the new believers. Because we devote ourselves wholeheartedly to the responsibilities of the family, the mission of the church, and the enthusiasm for evangelism, let others see Jesus living in our hearts from our actions. We are good stewards of Jesus’ life.

Pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I Timothy 4

4-16 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
