Ohana Prayer 416 – 2 Thessalonians 3
Now may the Lord of peace Himself always grant you His peace and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. II Thes 3:16
Elohim, our heavenly Father, You are faithful and loving! All the created things were by and from You. The earth shakes when You gaze at it, mountains bellow out smoke when You touch! May the glory of the LORD be forever. May all that You created bless You so the nations will be blessed. You deliver repass to us at a timely manner. You open Your hands and we are filled! We tremble when You turn Your face from us. We will return to dust when our You take the loaned breath back. Every and each awaken morning, we come to You for peace that is granted to us without bounds. May we continuously abide in You! Singing praising hymns with our lips an entire life, for You are worthy!
Lord Jesus, You embrace us and shielded us from the wrath of hades since Your blood cleansed us and brought reconciliation with Adonai. Being hang on the cross bridge the abyss! Real living began when we confess and accept You to become our Savior! This life is abundant, protected from the evil one so that temptations have no effect of us. Even in this event of facing the pandemic that wears us down to the bone, You give us strength to endure! We can take refuge in the harbor, docked, ropes tied, so that our ship can be refueled and ready to set sail into the ocean fishing. Dear Jesus, forgive us when we failed to become the beacon, failed to follow Your charge of fishers of man and let our ship just docked and rotted away, unprepared to hoist up the sail to catch onto the spiritual wind. All of us like sheep have gone astray, we have turned, each one, to his own way; neglect to follow the Great Shepherd! Became gossipers, busybodies, stumbling blocks, live larcenously, wasted away of our time, Lord, shake us up!
Holy Spirit, please come to enlighten our hearts and cleanse our minds. Please teach us, rebuke us, lead us back to the right path, take up our cross, follow the Lord, work quietly, and eat our own food. Work hard to do good, never lose one’s ambitions. In these difficult years, stick to our post, uphold Christ, and support the weak. Holy Spirit, we ask of You to protect our next generation, who will lose their normal learning, education and social life. The epidemic has cast a shadow over the lives of many people. Please give Your anointing, give the churches the motivation to rebuild the youth ministry, give the churches the ability to face the new challenges after the epidemic, and bring a new atmosphere to the church. Rekindle the spiritual fire of revival, so that the gospel can flourish again and open a new page.
Pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
II Thessalonians 3
1-5 As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
10-16 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard them as an enemy but warn them as you would a fellow believer. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
