Ohana Prayer 262 – Matthew 18

5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?

13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

20 For where two or three gathers in my name, there am I with them.”

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

Thanks to our loving LORD, our heavenly Father! You rule this world with unbounded kindness and love. We prostrate before You bringing of our respective hearts, to gaze upon Your countenance, Your power, and Your glory! O God, you are my God; we earnestly search for you. Our soul thirsts for you; our whole-body longs for You in this parched and weary land where there is no water. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how we praise You! We lie awake thinking of You, meditating on You through the night.

Because You are our helper, we sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings. We cling to you; Your strong right hand holds us securely. We shall greed today with a joyous heart.

Lord Jesus, You are our God who is full of mercies and forgiveness! We thank you for You care for everyone who is weak in body and damaged in spirit, even forgiving the robber on the cross nailed alongside with You as well as Peter who had denied of You. Please forgive our arrogant and arrogant hearts, and our thoughts of holding hatred and not being considerate and despise of youths and those that fall into the snare of temptation. Pray for Your protection so we may be delivered since if our hand or foot causes us to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of our hands and feet.

Pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
