Ohana Prayer 253 – Matthew 9
6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”
7 Then the man got up and went home.
8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.
17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Praise to our Heavenly Father. Let all the heavens and Your creations sing out praises in unison! From the depth of us hearts, we praise You and yearn for the filling of Your mercy, trust upon You and bearing our responsibilities from each daybreak. Faithful and righteous LORD, forgive of our transgressions, cleanse of our unrighteousness, walk with You in the path of light and stay away from the darkness.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for You are wiser than the physicians’ understanding the causes of our illnesses. Pray for Your diagnosis to heal us of our physical bodies, our minds, and our emotions.
Lord, You are now sitting at the right hand of the Father. Your heart senses us and Your eyes are still gazing upon us. Due to the pandemic, we are like sheep without a shepherd, we pray for You to bestow Your mercy onto us once again. We lift up our hands to pray and claim Your promise: We will never be separated from Your love no matter at the face of trials, persecutions, or dangers!
Holy Spirit, come and dwell in our hearts, no longer walking in the fleshy ways, hearts rekindled, and living in peace and harmony united with You. Pray for the living water of truth to fill of this old wineskin to purge of the aged thought, hardened hearts, and stubbornly ways so that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds with renewed strength. Refurbished like new wineskins for filling of the living truth teachings of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to open our spiritual eyes to behold that the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. Teach to be vigilant and hard at work and keeping the faith so others will join in to continue lifting up the banner of Christ! Pray that we are moved to allow growing space of the up-and-coming workers as You have given us in the days of old. Let us become stepping stones and not blocking stones. So, the Gospel can be preached far and wild freely. Revive us, O Holy Spirit!
Pray this pray in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.
