Ohana Prayer 250 – Matthew 6

9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us today our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.

23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

You are our El Olam, our Heavenly Father. You have limitless mercy and grace, not easily angered, and forever faithful and true! There is no other God under the heavens that deserve all our adorations and worship. Love You and those of Your ministers and You will recompense those with Your love for generations. In the mornings, we proclaim that we only belong to You and are Your inheritances. May Your words be always before us so that we will gain favor, mercy with forgiveness of our sins and iniquities. Your presence will then be amongst us.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And we firmly believe that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, may our lives be under Your domain, submit under Your authority, and a place to have Your will be completed. Your renewal of our motives, that is, to be willing to carry out Your callings in response to Your love. Let us do all things to seek to please You, living out a life of joy and carefree because You have tendered all things, even our daily bread.

Holy Spirit, open our spiritual eyes, light up this lampstand so that all can see the beacon. So that, when people see our good deeds will give praise to our Heavenly Father. However, please ensure of our deeds are not only for show with no real desire of pleasing, only an act and not build with heart of mercy and pure motive. Bringing shame to the name of the Lord.

Let us also put ourselves in other’s shoe so to have empathy and not just judge based on appearances. Let us purpose to be genuine, not self-centered, so our works can be blessed by You. Less all our charity, prayers, and fasting in vain. Holy Spirit, we pray for Your giving us a heart of trust and obey, safely under Your wings’ protection, pray with reverence to lift up our families and the pandemic to You and plead for mercies. We believe that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective and the Lord will bless those who walk righteously and trustworthy.

Pray, thankful, and plead in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.
