Ohana Prayer 242 – Mark 13
1 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”
2 “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many.
7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
O Eternal God, LORD Jehovah, our sweet Heavenly Father. Our Father who is in heaven, we uphold the holiness of your name. Heaven and Earth shall pass away but Your words shall never be. We thank you for reviewing Your presence with us via the tabernacle, the temple, and the synagogue, that we may come and worship and be drawn closer to You. Today, You use the church to unite all the body parts to work together to build upon each other, to become the standard and signa living out the lives of holiness. Even more, that You send forth the Holy Spirit to dwell in us leading our days.
Praise to be the omnipotent, omnipresence, and omniscient God! None of us know of the exact coming of the end time, not the day, not the hours. Even Jesus and the angels know not of this information, only You, Father. Let us live out the days knowing of the end day will come, live out a careful life, watching, waiting, and praying. We pray for the places now affected by famine, unrest, natural catastrophe, pandemic, and war that You will grant blessings for You shine on the just and the unjust. Knowing of the sufferings of the people along with the brethren, pray of Your mercy will descent unto this world. For we believe that nothing is impossible with You.
Praise to the almighty, all glorious, and will descent with the cloud Lord Jesus! You know of our mindsets and thoughts. We do not stay alert and pray so that we won’t give in to temptation. The spirit is eager, but the flesh is weak. Prop us up again, Lord, so we can stay safely under Your wings having no fear or worries of today. Therefore, stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit. O Holy Spirit, we are born in the Spirit to live out and execute of the will of the LORD with gladness. We know we can always depend on You whenever we pray, whenever we needed strength in the ministry, and speak words directed by You.
We thank you for wherever we go that You are always there with us. Let us lift up our hands to pray for our families, relatives, to bring the Word to them that they can drink also from the river of life. Whenever our brethren pray, we are all praying with them in one accord. Rekindle of ambers in our hearts to be the witness for Christ to this world so that we can all lift up our praises to the Heavenly Father. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Pray this in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.
