Ohana Prayer 241 – Mark 12

1 Jesus then began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place.

2 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to collect from them some of the fruit of the vineyard. 14 They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?

17 Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” And they were amazed at him.

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘There is no commandment greater than these.”

43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you; this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.

44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

Praise to our Heavenly Father! Your loving kindness endures forever. We come to the throne of grace with an attitude of willingness to be send out to the post You assigned of us, being Your co-laborer in the ministries. Remind of us that all of our possessions are from You, of our dwelling, statue in society, children, wealth, and abilities, are all encompassed in the vineyard. From Your loving kindness, You have prepared this vineyard for us to manage, being of a good steward to fulfill of Your calling to bring forth fruits for Your pleasure.

Lord Jesus, You are the Way, Truth, and Life! You demonstrated by living amongst us, firming of our foundation of faith by Your teachings and living out of Your calling, You are the light of the world. We will not walk in the darkness when we walk with You!

Forgive us of our ignorance and foolishness! We look upon that we accomplished and acquired as our very own, forgetting that we are only stewards to manage and to serve. Less we forget that which belongs to Caesar and to our LORD. Forgive of our sins of mismanagement, allowing the failure to overcome. Pray of Your reminding of who is the steward and who is the master, less we overstep Your authority, and fail to submit to Your guidance.

Come, Holy Spirit, through the artery of: emotions, spirituality, will, and physical body, send throughout the entire body pumped out with the power of the spiritual heart to come alive for Christ. As well as through the veins of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control to reverb of the renewal of our hearts. Especially during this time of serious spreading of the virus, let us defend of ourselves from the virus contamination physically. That, we will defend ourselves from spiritual contamination through daily prayers and meditation of Your word.

We also now pray for the leaders of the countries that You will grant them the wisdom to govern. Being just in their decisions and bring peace to the people. We also pray for the front-line staffs for their protections as well as peace to their families.

Pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
